It feels a bit surreal writing this. When I set out in Cardiff, it was just me, a handful of trusted colleagues, and a simple idea of let’s do IT and cybersecurity differently, make it personal, make it trustworthy, sweat the small stuff and make it genuinely help founders like us get ahead. It wasn’t just about plugging gaps or selling services, it was about standing shoulder-to-shoulder with businesses that wanted to build something special, no matter the odds.

The early days? They were tough. Tight budgets, late nights, and the familiar challenge of convincing others that our approach was worth the leap. But what we lacked in size, we made up for in our passion to be better. Every success came from rolling up our sleeves, listening properly, and focusing on what mattered most - giving founders real peace of mind so they could chase their ambitions without second guessing their tech.

As we established ourselves, we found ourselves working with all sorts of businesses - finance, legal, brokerages, recruiters and consultancies. Each sector threw up new challenges, but that’s where we thrived. We built a reputation for being proactive, not reactive, for actually picking up the phone and sorting things, not hiding behind tickets or over-complicated jargon. We invested in brilliant people (it took a few wrong ones to find them though!), kept our fingers on the pulse of cyber threats, and crucially never forgot that our job is to make founders lives easier, not more complicated. We weren’t interested in being boring and corporate, neither were we focused on the old school approach of building vendor relationships for the financial gain, but actually choosing the right solutions to fix each founders unique problems.

London always felt like the next big step. It’s a city buzzing with energy, filled with founders and teams who aren’t afraid to dream big and take risks. That’s exactly our kind of crowd. Expanding here isn’t just about having a postcode in the capital, it’s about showing ambitious start-ups and scale-ups that there’s a partner out there who genuinely gets it.
